说到这些词汇，最近厦大一副院长博士论文涉抄袭其学生甚至连致谢也抄，这脸可是丢大了。祸不单行，影版《三生三世十里桃花》也深陷抄袭风波。那么抄袭、改编、借鉴用英语究竟该怎么说呢？

 

1、plagiarize -- vt.剽窃，抄袭

联想记忆：拉la假gia的东西来获得奖品prize→抄袭 plagiarize

①Moderates are plagiarizing his ideas in hopes of wooing voters 温和派为讨好选民在盗用他的观点。

 ②The poem employs as its first lines a verse plagiarized from a billboard. 这首诗开头的几行抄袭了一个广告牌上的一节诗。

 ③Koreans all cheat and plagiarize in universities. 韩国人在大学里没几个不作弊和剽窃。

 

2、adapt --vt.（为电视、舞台等）

①The scriptwriter helped him to adapt his novel for the screen 编剧帮助他将其所著小说改编成电影。 

②he film has been adapted from a play of the same title. 电影改编自一部同名戏剧。

 

切记，它的名词是adaptation，cinematic adaptation就是“电影改编”的意思，其中cinematic用作形容词，意为“电影的” 我们来看一段曾经的英文报道：

Warcraft continued its domination of the Chinese film market at this week, China Film News reported. Thecinematic adaptation of the game franchise has raked in 1.4 billion yuan since June 8, two days before the North American market release.

中国电影报报道，《魔兽》本周继续引领中国电影市场。这部根据游戏版权制作的电影改编比北美地区早两天于6月8日上映，但已经轻松收入了14亿元人民币。

 

3、reference 我能想到的“借鉴”就是这个词了，
